In the North

This is what we’re used to do as big mountain skiers: in the North, to go in the North. It’s not by coincidence we go from time to time to Switzerland, not only to buy chocolate but to go skiing in the poudreuse.
Norway was on the project plan book for a long time (in the meantime we also went to the South, skiing down from Mt. Etna!), and finally we had a relaxing week. Mountains are not so big as we are used to but all the landscape is for sure unique and special. Lofoten and Vesteralen made a good playground for the five of us. Next time we’ll go explore the Lyngen Alps, again in Norway and “In the North”, off course. How to go there? It’s easy, plan your next trip here.

One more run – Powder hunters in Japan

We were all committed to go to Japan, we heard about some stories where a special powder is… so light and deep and so friendly. That’s true, Japan is magic! People, food, mountain guides and the bed where you sleep in the night is something you’ll never give up after one go-go skiing day. Follow me, in “the one more run”* (*the one more run is the last run of the day, but never call it the last one… call it the one more run)

Powdering in Jaffreau

IT’s a great season of powder… 2013 is really generous. Skis go well and legs are fine! Here we are close to Bardonecchia, Italy.

San Vigilio – Al Plan de Mareo

We’re coming here from a long time, we’re coming home even if we’re strangers. Is it because of the ladin language or because everything is so calm and out of the ordinary routes? Just go at the end of the valley where the natural Fanes, Sennes, Braies Park shows you the answers.

Skiing & Dolomites

Fast downhill runs in the Ladin valleys, it’s the long SellaRonda. The track is really amazing and it connects the main resorts of the four valleys which are Corvara, Arabba, Canazei and Selva. Everytime you start a SellaRonda it can be a friendly competition beating your best time, or a wonderful journey. Great snow, great food!

Monte Bianco – Mont Blanc

Ask me the place I studied more on the books, ask me where I spent some glorious days. Perhaps this timeless beauty is more domesticated today, but it’s enough a fish cloud on the top and in few hours everything can change. Sunny days and bright nights can still be a gift you’ll never forget.
